"The God image of Jesus and our call to follow him today"

Jesus was sent to reveal to us who God really is and who He wants to be for us. He summarized his message in two words or phrases. The first one contains his God experience expressed in the word Abba ( his human expression of his innermost experience of God) and the second one is the phrase Kingdom of God, God's dream for the whole of creation. He called disciples whom he sent out to carry on his own mission. Therefore, the fundamental norm and the supreme law of every Christian is to follow the Lord as he walked over this earth, as Vatican II phrased it. The retreat wants to call us back to Jesus' basic message and to come to realize what following him will mean for us today.
